An ASX-10 conglomerate that needed to align it’s business leaders to cultural & performance expectations

Study: As the Head of Talent and Leadership for Wesfarmers, Christine partnered with executive leaders to create a Commercial Leadership Program for general managers and C-suite. Within the context of an autonomous operating business model, the program was designed to connect general managers and C-suite executives across Wesfarmers’ portfolio of businesses with the strategic intent and guiding values of Wesfarmers for satisfactory shareholder return over the long-term. The program included a Harvard-style case study approach for general managers to discover and learn the commercial leadership lessons of c-suite executives.

Evaluation: Evaluation revealed a deeper emotional connection with the parent company, learning and insights leveraged across business divisions and siloes, and 90% of GMs identifying ways to improve return on capital.
